Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning – HVAC – applications are of key importance to produce comfortable ambient conditions in: office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, university campuses, etc. In Data Centers or Research and Development facilities, HVAC is also of key importance to produce the correct ambient conditions for Hardware or specific research conditions.
Data center HVAC systems are crucial for removing the vast amount of heat generated by IT equipment and ensuring optimal performance. These systems differ from standard air conditioning, focusing on cooling servers rather than people. Efficient cooling is essential to prevent overheating, maintain equipment reliability, and optimize energy consumption.
Cooling can be provided by free cooling from air or water, with cooling towers or adiabatic coolers, or even by chillers, normally in combination with heat exchangers and sometimes refrigerant coolers.

A fully welded, non openable version designed for clean media at high temperatures and or pressures, built to minimize leakage risk.

A welded plate heat exchanger using flat studded plates to allow larger channel spacing, making it better suited for fouling or viscous media and more demanding materials.

Openable Plate & Shell Heat Exchangers
Nexson Openable Plate and Shell Heat Exchangers provides enhanced flexibility by enabling the plate pack to be withdrawn from the shell for inspection or mechanical cleaning. This is made possible by its flanged and bolted shell design. The plate pack allows for swift removal and refitting, minimizing process downtime.
Fully Welded Plate & Shell Heat Exchangers
The core component of Nexson Fully Welded Plate and Shell Heat Exchanger is a fully welded plate pack enclosed within a robust shell, eliminating the need for gaskets. Both the plate pack and the shell are entirely welded, yet they remain separate, allowing for expansion and contraction in response to temperature changes.
Kettle Reboiler Plate & Shell Heat Exchanger
Nexson Kettle Reboiler Plate & Shell Heat Exchanger is a compact, fully welded plate & shell kettle reboiler designed for high-efficiency evaporation in demanding applications. Operating as a flooded evaporator, it maintains the refrigerant in a submerged state for optimal heat transfer.

Open Evaporative Cooling Towers
Open Evaporative Cooling Towers are used when cooling requirements demand large water volumes and/or when cooling water must be at a low temperature. They use evaporation to efficiently cool water and are ideal for a variety of applications. Open-loop cooling towers have no specific water quality requirements. Some of Cofinair’s open cooling towers are specially designed for use with clean water.
Adiabatic Coolers
The Adiabatic cooler is a heat exchanger. Calories are released dry to the atmosphere. As soon as the climatic conditions get warmer, this exchanger uses the evaporation of water. So, safely and without water treatment, it dissipates the calories by maintaining a cold-water temperature lower than that of ambient air.
Evaporative Refrigerant Condensers
Decsa evaporative refrigerant condensers are heat exchangers that dissipate the heat required for the condensation of refrigerant gases, such as ammonia. By transforming refrigerant gases from a gaseous to a liquid state, they are especially suitable for industrial refrigeration and cold chain processes, ensuring reliability, high efficiency and low operating costs.
Adiabatic Condensers
Our Refrigerant Coolers / Adiabatic Condensers are heat exchangers dedicated to NH3 refrigerant as standard. The calories are rejected dry in the atmosphere. As soon as climatic conditions increase, our exchangers use the evaporation of water. Thus, in complete safety and without water treatment, they dissipate the calories to condense the gas at a temperature lower than that of the ambient air.
